La Leche League Canada promotes a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby, and through education, information, encouragement and mother-to-mother support, helps mothers nation-wide to breastfeed.

These days everybody knows how to use Google to get excellent information about alternative childbirth related topics.   It can still be tricky, however, to find local organizations and services.   These online resources are intended to provide ASAC members and friends with a useful list of local services, businesses, resources and organizations that provide information and services connected to ASAC's goals primarily to ASAC members and friends in Alberta.  Although some commercial enterprises may be represented, this list has a primarily informational and not advertising purpose.   For pure advertising, see the Birth Issues advertising information.
